Artesano Alpaca

Artesano are a truly fair trade, ethical company. When they first started trading, their main suppliers were based in Bolivia, one of the poorest countries in South America.  They were very careful to work with co-operatives and companies that had a good record of looking after the people that work for them, and this is an ethos which has never left.  Today, they source most of their yarn from Peru, as well as being the European suppliers of Manos del Uruguay - the first World Fair Trade Organisation certified yarn!

	We stock their range of gorgeous space-dyed Hummingbird DK Sock Yarn and the deliciously soft 100% Alpaca superfine DK as well as a selection of colours in the wonderful Inca Cloud!
Artesano Aran is a gorgeously soft and luxuriously thick aran weight yarn, in a 50/50 mix of alpaca and peruvian highland wool.  Soft, light and snuggly, perfect to start your autumn/winter knitting with! We've also got the new Superwash merino DK!  Gorgeous, machine washable softness, ideal for children and baby knits.

 Patterns are £2.50 and are printed on A3 folded glossy paper.
